Day 2 of Remote Teaching
So far so many different things to have to deal with!
So the district has effectively shut down physical teaching and has gone to remote teaching for the remainder of the school year. This means that we only have so many times we will be allowed to go into our rooms and get things, which we needed or were wanted by teachers. I got what I wanted which were some books, paper, markers, and sentimentals like my diplomas.
There really has been no teaching on my end as far as I can tell, this week is mainly connecting the students to the various platforms at their disposal. A lot of my time felt like it was trouble-shooting password trouble for the students! But we are getting there, thankfully.
I’ve created a work from home schedule, but it can be hard to follow now that work and home have meshed into being the same space and place. Thankfully this is not a problem, but an observation of my own need for consistency.
Thing I am grateful for
Being able to connect with my students
Having the ability to still work
Knowing that change is always happening.
