How quickly the world turns! How slowly I remember to post!

Today is the 9th day of remote teaching, where everything is made up and the points seemingly don’t matter!

the school district has decided to go for an additive grading method for the last quarter of the year due to the COVID-19 medical crisis we are facing.

many students have taken it as a chance to stop connecting with work given by teachers, which I understand at that age.

i guess I wonder what does that say about the work I have been putting in with my students in the first place.

many students will hopefully still be needing something to entertain. But have I never had real value with the knowledge i tried to share in the first place?
